When he finally did, he didn't look too thrilled.
Sometimes he thought it was just plain funky.
Next day, he gagged.
And frowned.
But once he finally swallowed, he still loved me all the same.
So I changed my game and gave him everybody's favorite... green beans! He made me laugh because it looked like he had a bad-guy mustache, and he had the grumpy face to go with it.
Then he shuddered.
And almost cried.
After a while, I think he was about to blow chunks.
He wasn't as quick to forgive me for the green beans, and I think he already cemented in his mind the idea that every kid believes... anything green tastes GROSS!

Oooo try again. I gave Sam green beans the other day and he gagged every time I gave him a bite, but he kept taking the bite because I laughed when he gagged. Then several days later I tried green beans again and he was fine. Weird.
