A Study in Grapefruit

Today was the day I've been waiting for. Last night's freeze convinced me to pluck one of the grapefruit from my tree and eat it before it gets destroyed somehow.

It was... DELICIOUS.

The cut open pieces of my grapefruit, sitting there all dug out after giving me long awaited satisfaction, looked so bright and beautiful against the backdrop of my black granite counter tops.

So, I took a page out of Jill's book and decided to photograph something mundane to tell a story on my blog.

And then I got photo editor happy.

Behold... my study in grapefruit.

I love grapefruit! This makes me want one, but they are all probably dead and froze. Sadness.

Cool, you could make a "Grapefruit-lovers" photo book, you know, for the coffee table. hehe Great conversation piece!
