Thousands of Words

In pictures!!

I bought a new camera. No, not the fancy dSLR that I wanted but didn't have the budget for right now. I exercised self-control and bought another little point-and-shoot... so little, in fact, that I think it's cute. I resisted buying the pink one, though.

Of course, I had to see what my new camera could do.

He wants the camera...

What better time than general conference for a photo shoot?

On Jill's blog, she says, "You might be a photographer if you've ever stepped out mid shower to grab your camera..." and then she says, "k, now you go." I don't claim to be a photographer, but I'll take my turn anyway.

You might be a photographer if you've ever taken your camera to the grocery store...

...to photograph produce.

I promise, I just found these lying like this.

I shall not bore you with all of them. Just know there were more. Upon seeing these photos, Russ' comment was, "I am so glad I didn't go with you."

Sunday, we had lunch at my mom's, watched conference, and enjoyed the most beautiful afternoon. I saw the snow at temple square and thought... well, I just thought I was glad not to be there in the snow. I enjoyed it quite enough through the television.

This girl has natural beauty. It's easy to get a good shot of her.

And now for a lovely finale.

THE END.

I think you got some great shots there, I especially loved the pictures of happy kids frolicking in the grass, spring/summer fun. I really like the produce pictures a lot, but I agree you probably looked silly. I'm surprised the store didn't think you were an undercover reporter doing a story on bad produce or something! LOL

I would have loved to see you at the store, that is hilarious. great pics and congrats on the pound! It'll be 6 weeks since I had our baby on Monday but today I attempted pilates. I'm naughty. Yeah, can't get up so no worries on hurting myself b/c I have no strength and just quit. I love having sweets. i feel like I need one after every meal. but yeah, once you stop having them you don't crave it. i limited myself to a treat once a week but now I don't limit myself at all, I'm a big pig oy! I should, I'd like to lose weight but oh well! :)

Very nice shots for the "cheap" camera. Those produce ones were cool. I can just see Russ say he was glad to miss that trip to the store! hehe
I am going to do what you said about the sugar. I've actually tried this week. Too bad I bought those carmel/chocolate macodamian nut clusters at Costco. They are way too good and too much of a temptation! You should have stopped me!!
