Kallie's Sad Birthday

Sad because she was so sick that she laid on the couch the whole time. I put a lot of work into that party, so it was a real disappointment for me that Kallie couldn't enjoy it. Cousin Sam was so awesome to stay by her side and care for her during the festivities.

We had a carnival on the patio... (thanks to all my helpers!)

Sorry, guys, that the stamps were so lame (what, no ink!?!). I had to glue Paige's back together. Hope you weren't wishing for anything cool.

And swing set fun, but that pic had somebody's panties showing, so I didn't post it... (always be careful when wearing a dress and using a trapeze bar!)

We sang "Happy Birthday" to Kallie, and Russ helped her open her gifts. She did not look pleased.

She was looking so bad that we decided she needed a priesthood blessing. With Russ and Ben in costume, that was the scariest looking blessing ever, but we're glad we had all those priesthood holders handy.

After everyone left, my mom went and got Kallie some Pedialyte. We helped her drink some and started showing Kallie her toys... about 30 minutes after the party ended, she perked up and started sitting up and eventually started walking around. She was convinced that the Pedialyte was magic juice, so every time she coughed, she would say, "I need some more magic juice!" She slept in our room and woke up twice during the night to play with her toys some more. That made for a sleepless night for us, but we were happy she was finally feeling better.
